A brisk tour of Corsica
After its recent visit to Japan, where Michelin claimed its 37th world title with Sébastien Loeb, the FIA World Rally Championship moves on to Corsica for Round 14 of the 16- round series. With a total score of 21 wins to Michelin's name on the Mediterranean island since 1973, the Rallye de France - Tour de Corse has long been successful hunting ground for the French tyre firm which will be out for further success this time round. Meanwhile, on the event which brought the Citroën Xsara WRC-Michelin its maiden world class victory, the French car can once again be expected to play a leading role as Sébastien Loeb and François Duval both attempt to score their first win on the sealed-surface classic.
