A delegation from Fundación Export. Ar, the Argentinean Government agency which promotes the country's products around the world, has chosen Autosport International as its gateway to accessing key European motorsport decision makers. This non-profit organisation works across the public and private sector in assisting the Argentinean business community to launch, expand, market and diversify exports.
Five independent companies, devoted exclusively to supplying parts to the racing industry, will be at the show to discuss their businesses in Argentina and the global aim of the group.
The five, known together as the Ualen Group, all started as suppliers in Argentina, and are now developing into foreign markets. They are: COMAT, specialists in gears, engine, suspension and transmission parts; Conforma, developers of stainless steel exhaust systems; Ercoli, crankshaft and con-rod manufacturers; Pianetto, a renowned chassis builder, and Pozzi, manufacturer of shock absorbers, suspension and brake components.
"We already have international sales, and are developing strong relationships and networks in Latin America, the UK, the United States, France, Austria and Japan," said Ualen Group Spokeman Christián Edwards. "We all want to develop our businesses abroad, and as Autosport International is Europe's largest motorsport show, it is a perfect fit for us."
"I am confident that Autosport International will provide the Ualen Group with plenty of opportunities to forge new relationships," said Autosport International Show Director Ian France.
"The presence of these five companies will also open new doors globally for our existing visitors. Last year alone, Autosport International had more than 4,100 trade visitors from overseas representing 49 countries, and overall the show generated more than £430 million worth of business."
Autosport International is held 14-17 January at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
