The Impreza N2010 uses the new larger 33mm air restrictor, introduced by the FIA to help balance the performance of Group N and the unrestricted Super2000 rally cars.  Increasing the restrictor diameter from 32 to 33mm, fitting high flow fuel injectors and recalibrating the ECU increases peak power by 20 bhp, but more significantly, improves torque and responsiveness throughout the rev range.

This year’s Race Retro will see legendary Rally drivers put to the test on an exciting new live action Rally Stage when it returns to Stoneleigh Park from 12th to 14th March. Featuring more sharp turns and an amazing power slide for the drivers to enjoy, the new course is also much more visitor friendly with a raised spectator viewing bank and all tarmac paddock where enthusiasts can get up close to the cars in service. 

This year’s Race Retro is promising the latest in high-quality components, aimed at making any historic motor sport entrant that little bit more competitive in their chosen discipline. Held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, from 12th to 14th March 2010, leading businesses will be showing-off their products and services for both cars and motorcycles, from complete engine build-ups to camshaft coating and bodywork rebuilds.

Ford Motor Company announced today that it is teaming up with Ken Block, the California-based action sports icon-turned-rally driver, for future global motorsports opportunities.

Sébastien Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena collected their sixth consecutive FIA World Rally Championship trophy at the FIA Gala in Monaco this evening. The French/Monégasque pairing claimed the title on the final round to maintain their place in the record books as the most successful crew in the history of the series.

BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Mikko Hirvonen fulfilled a childhood dream by winning Rally Finland in front of his home town fans in Jyväskylä today.

Having racked up an impressive total of four manufacturers’ titles, five drivers’ world championships and 58 victories, Citroën will continue its participation in the FIA World Rally Championship for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Ford of Europe today confirmed its commitment to the FIA World Rally Championship by announcing its continued participation for the next two seasons.  Ford, together with long-term partner M-Sport, will continue its successful WRC programme in 2010 and 2011.

Following Gronholm and the Prodrive Impreza’s strong run during the first day of Rally Portugal, Prodrive is aiming to do further WRC rounds in 2009.

Marcus Gronholm finished the first day of Rally Portugal in fourth place after setting some impressive times during the day’s six stages.  Until the final stage of the day, Gronholm was comfortably lying in second place, but caught the slowing Ford of Al Qassimi and lost time, before being able to pass him. 

When Marcus Gronholm drives over the start ramp for Rally Portugal today, it will be 25 years since Prodrive first competed at the 1984 Qatar Rally.  Then, a Prodrive-prepared Porsche 911 SC RS, driven by Saeed Al Hajri, won on its debut and went on to bring the Rothmans Porsche Rally Team the Middle East Rally Championship title.

PROCAR RALLY TEAM has defined an important agreement for participation in the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) with a Grande Punto Abarth S2000, with the young Portuguese rally driver Bernardo Sousa.

Ford's World Rally Championship drivers proved they have a nose for fun when they lent their support to the comedy capers of British charity Comic Relief's fund-raising Red Nose Day.
